I need you to help me out I am doing a social study of men and female relationships and I am firstly focusing on Afrikan men so far I have had some very interesting feedback and would like to hear a few words from the african (black)men please. I have asked men to answer the very simple question of "WHAT DOES A MAN WANT IN A WIFE!" people should be honest and realistic with their reponses it should be something that they can attain or bare to live with to death do them part(lol). The responses so far have been varied and interesting. I really need a variety of men to respond.

First and foremost,i look for trust and loyalty. A healthy relationship is based on trust..I want someone who does not retreat into their "shell" when something's wrong..I want a woman who can communicate with me. I also look for confidence and self esteem. A woman with low self esteem issues is a problem because she's always in doubt of her &my abilities..
I hate quarrelsome women..they hardly like losing an arguement. She must mind her own business and not get involved in silly arguements with friends etc..
She also has to be a good cook..

I'm not sure i'm telling the truth there..

I want a dumb woman! Someone i can toss around and control and tell all sorts of shit to...and sometimes slap her. She MUST be dumb because i don't like someone cleverer than me.I have low self esteem issues and i like to think i'm cleverer than a woman.I'm also not a confident chap so having someone similar is a plus.. She must also be nice looking but i wouldn't let her wear make up and nice clothes because i might lose her..I have insecurity issues you see..so it's in everybody's best interests that she doesn't look nice...I wouldn't want "better" guys might pick her up. She must also be able to cook great food..

Basically,i need total control of a woman..

Unfortunately some men do actually want this. If this is what you want then be real about it. Until we are honest to ourselves of what we truly want in a relationship then our relationships may truly suffer. For many of us we never start a relationship based on truth and what we want.

The funny thing is there is more truth in your alter ego than in your first statement and many women wouldn't wnat to admit it but would rather go for the alter ego man. It is something they do subconciously this is only due to the lack of love within 1 self and that goes for the alter ego man too.
